YAY, big thanks to my co-founder Amy L. who got us a room at the Downtown library (thanks for the suggestion, LJ friend!).
The brand new Gainesville Happiness Project Group will meet on Thursday, June 11th, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Bring a notebook and a writing instrument we'll be working on our first project.
I'm so excited we finally got the ball rolling on this! I can't wait to meet you all!

The Happiness Project is a way to create and sustain our own personal happinesses. You will commit to concrete and measurable actions; challenge our group to keep a resolution; identify your own principles that guide your life; and pull together things that inspire you. We'll share it all with the group in our meetings.
Why should you be part of a group? Because sometimes it helps to be accountable for our actions. Gretchen Rubin, the founder of the Happiness Project, writes: Having an appointment to focus on something makes it more likely you’ll do it, and it won’t slip to the bottom of the pile. Also, once you’ve told someone else your resolution, you’ll have someone asking if you’re keeping it!
